The first mini-EDE in France is a two weeks immersive experience at the heart of regenerative lifestyles. We will learn how to design ecovillages and resilient communities and we will have a specific focus on how your project can be rooted in the local areas and a key player for systemic change. The course will take place in one of the most flourishing ecovillage in France, Sainte-Camelle, and the participants will have the opportunity to discover the wisdom, expertise, best practices and regenerative know-hows of this place and their inhabitants, especially in the fields of regenerative agriculture and hydrology, ecobuilding and low-techs, inner ecology, community building and quantum psychology. We will visit other ecovillages and explore the different legal and economical models to start an ecovillage in a french context.
How to run an EDE?
Several of our EDE graduates have carried on organising EDE programmes in their local areas, and you are warmly encouraged to do so after completing your course.
The recommended time frame of an EDE is four weeks, however this is not fixed and varies with each individual programme.
The material can be condensed into smaller workshops, spread out over a longer period, or distributed in blocks at different times and locations.
